Korean conflict
After WWII Korea was divided into the United States and Korea. Korea was divided along this parallel because Russia was trying to take it. North and South Korean differed by one being a communist state and one is a one man dictatorship. On July 25th, 1950 Korean forces came across 38th parallel to a surprise attack on South Korea. The Soviet Union supported the North Koreans by giving strength and supplies.The United States will aid the South Koreans.
By 1950 North Koreans pushed to the perimeters of Pusan. The tide of the Korean war changed when the U.S cut the North Koreans army in half and pushed them out of South Korea. China felt threatened and then sent 300,000 troops into North Korea. Three major battles of the Korean Conflict were, Gojaseen, Three Kingdoms, North South states. In July 1953 Armstice ended the Korean war.
